What we do

Fence Tyler builds and repairs fences: pine and cedar privacy fences, ranch pipe and wire fencing for acreage, wrought iron and aluminum, chain link, walk and drive gates with openers, and staining for wood fences that are already up, across Tyler and the towns around it.

Why East Texas fences are different

Smith County ground is mostly sandy topsoil over clay, the air is humid most of the year, termites are active, and spring storms bring down pine limbs. A fence here lasts when the posts are set for that ground and the wood is chosen for that weather.

How we plan a job

We walk the fence line with you, find the corners from your survey, note slopes, trees and drainage, and check the city or HOA rules for your address. Then you get a written quote, itemized by material, posts, gates and removal of any old fence.

What you get in writing

A written quote before work starts: the fence line, height, material, post type and spacing, gates and hardware, and what happens to the old fence.

Materials

Pressure-treated pine and cedar for wood fences, ground-contact rated or steel posts, welded pipe and wire for ranch fencing, powder-coated iron and aluminum, and galvanized or vinyl-coated chain link. The material is chosen for the job and the budget, not the other way round.
